Foot brake
The foot brake (the left pedal) is the primary way of slowing down or stopping the car. Braking the car while it is powered off requires more pressure on the pedal.
Note: The car is equipped with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) which prevents the wheels from locking up during heavy braking.
Note: When the ABS engages, it may make grinding sounds or cause vibrations on the brake pedal. This is normal behavior, and an indication that the ABS is working as intended. Only when the ABS fault symbol
illuminates constantly in the driver display is it an indication of a fault in the ABS.
