Door open warning

When opening a door, the door open warning function warns the occupants of the car if there is a risk of collision with vehicles or cyclists approaching from behind. The warning appears on the driver display, accompanied by an audible warning, blind spot LEDs, and pulsating ambient light around the corresponding door.

If there is an immediate risk of collision, the function prevents the door from being opened. To override the door block, press the door opening button again.

The door open warning is active by default at the start of each journey.

To turn on/off door open warning:

The function is automatically disabled if a trailer is connected to the electrical system of the car.
