One pedal drive allows the driver to accelerate and decelerate using only the accelerator pedal. Depress the accelerator pedal to accelerate and raise the accelerator pedal to slow down. If the car is slowing down fast enough, the brake lights will activate.

One pedal is meant to increase comfort and is not a replacement for the brake pedal in emergency situations. Always be ready to brake hard with the brake pedal in case an emergency occurs.
One pedal driving is not available in the following situations:
