Software updates

The car regularly receives over-the-air updates to ensure that the software is always up to date. These software updates introduce new features and improve existing ones, continuously improving the driving experience.
To see the current software version, navigate to Graphic>General>System in the center display.

Installing software updates
New updates are downloaded automatically whenever they are available. A notification appears in the center display when a new update is ready to be installed. The update can either be installed immediately or scheduled for later. Updates can also be set to automatically install at 02:00.
To activate automatic updates:
1. 
Navigate to Graphic>General>System.
2. 
Press Auto update overnight.
The car is not usable during a software update. After starting an update from inside the car, you must exit and lock the car. During the first approximately seven minutes, the update can be aborted by unlocking the car. After this time has passed, the car cannot be unlocked again until the update is completed.
The following conditions must be met before a software update can start:
  The doors, trunk, and hood, are locked.
  No people or animals are inside the car.
  The car has a network connection, either mobile or Wi-Fi.
  The car's battery level is at least 20%.
How long a software update takes can vary from update to update, depending on the size of the update.
If the update seems to be stuck and it has been at least three hours since the update started, try rebooting the displays. See Reboot the center display and driver display. If the car cannot be unlocked, the center display is unresponsive after rebooting, or if rebooting is not possible, contact Zeekr support.
